About

Hey, welcome to my blog! I'm Finny; how are you? Read around; i'm sure there's something you can relate to.. or teach me. p.s my Jesus rocks =) and so do my awesomely amazing friends.

calm before the storm

I love the rain, and i love how it pours.

Today was something quite different as the rain and wind absolutely thundered past our house (pardon the pun). There were flashes of lightning every few seconds and even hail for a short period of time. As the storm grew, a couple (literally 2) pidgeons came to rest under our veranda, seeking shelter from the rain. They sat under the table i think. (Mimi seemed to have no quarrel with them)

Then almost as quick and suddenly as it had started, it subsided to little more than a drizzle, the sun seemed to shine brighter and the water that was flooding the areas around our garden was slowly absorbed by the soil; the puddles that were so large only a few minutes back shrank to little more than wet patches.

I was trying to study, however apparently i was too fascinated by it all - and didn't get much done. Was alone with Mimi at home, at first she seemed quite scared by the thunder and all but after a while it was evident that she was just upset she couldn't go outside to eat >.>

Funny though, i swear halfway through the storm, i could almost hear chariots - and swords amongst the flashes of lightning, and roars of thunder.

Fin~
