Retrospect : first term holidays
Looking back on the first term holidays, i just gotta say.
ROCK ON!
They absolutely rocked, no like, seriously, i had the time of my life XD it was probably the busiest holidays, or one of the busiest that i've had in ages. but seriously also one of the best! I dont even know where to start....haha, at the beginning duh XD
I trust in God, i know He cares for me....
Whilst the start of the holidays was hell busy, i think the first highlight has got to be the AWESOME outing on Easter Monday. Everybody was there (well, almost) and the stuff we did was really awesome, the games, the whole wander around the dam and get lost sorta thing, was just rocking xD. Remembering Cuz and Jenny score that goal was the funniest thing, and flicking kangaroo crap at Dave with my shoe was even better XD (hail captain crap! xD)
Tuesday, out at the movies, watching (clearly the better film) March of the Penguins with Cuz, Nat and Ken. While Ken and i were laughing at how stupid penguins look when they stack it, Cuz and Nat were adoring how cute they were (and they were) . Also ate the best dinner at Kenny's place. *mouth drools*
On mountain bleak...Or on the stormy sea
Friday rocked, went out with the cousins, and experienced some of the funniest moments ever, such as my mum speaking into a handphone...or rather speaking into the back of a handphone and wondering what was wrong when the entire table absolutely burst out laughing. When questioned about it later she responds,
"how was i meant to know the buttons were meant to be on the inside?!"
good times. xDDD Went to Harbour town, got a pair of shoes effectively 85% off, (from 200 bucks) and was hell happy, thanks Cuz for helping me shop xP At night went to the Perth Observatory for the tour, saved aunty Ina from a spider the size of my fist (exaggerated a bit) and had so much fun looking at the stars (and Saturn! how cute xD) and even more fun grabbing cuz and trying to probe through the dark together XD (coz, i mean it was dark ><)
Though billows roll, He keeps my soul...
The climax of my holidays was perhaps on Monday of the second week, (and highlighted in detail in my last blog), the trip to Rotto with the youth/young adults which was massively awesome. Trips on the tandem with Cuz and Jenny, pretending to boot people off with Leon... re-encounter of Weeble, and the serene and lovely environment that was around us. I'll remember that trip for a good many years of my life, i just know it.
Haiz. Once you have a good holiday you really dont wanna go back to school eh? But this time i decided to try and take a different approach, instead of getting all lazy during the holidays, i made the most of my time (...sorta) and am more than ready to kickstart this term! Cuz made a good point that i barely spent time with myself and God this holiday....and i guess she had a very good point, so haiz, have to quieten down this school term and keep focused on work and God.
But it's all good!!! CHURCH CAMP AFTER THE TERM! and that, my friends, is my driving motivation (Jen, you better be coming) for this term. (all those going, take that on board XD) So for all of you taking this term,
GOOD LUCK! GOD BLESS and ENJOY IT!
The latter may be marginally harder but try yea? =) We can make it through! (specially school students in year 12 xP)
