About

Hey, welcome to my blog! I'm Finny; how are you? Read around; i'm sure there's something you can relate to.. or teach me. p.s my Jesus rocks =) and so do my awesomely amazing friends.

to that Lovely person.... Sunday, February 26, 2006 |

=) heyyyyya!

Feels good....just finished homework, and i'm about to go rest up i guess. Economics, painful. Beware people who take economics *glares at Ian*. Anyway, my weekend has been relatively good. Youth on Saturday was awesome, church today was great, the choir, especially deserves credit, even though they were down on numbers they still sounded and looked AWESOME, keep it up guys. You rule.

An hour or so ago i was talking to a lovely friend, who happened to be feeling sorta...not on top of the world this week. And they were trying not to like pretty much explode....which is sorta, well, it just hit me. I mean, here i was, i thought that life was going great and i thought everybody was having you know, a really swell time.....and then i find out....they're not.

Economics: Consumer sentiment affects consumption expenditure

I'll remember that when i buy lunch tomorrow.

But back on topic, that person was rather close to me, and.....i guess it just made my mood, more vulnerable to change because of their mood.....does that make sense? well, i'm assuming it does. It's all ok when you see somebody you're not so close to going through a hard time and you're just like, yeah, relax, you know...things'll be ok after a while...... but when that person is close to you...blam. Suddenly you feel their pain. and you earnestly care about them.

I can remember when they went offline, i still felt that sorta....pain?(if you must), just wishing somehow, that i could make their week alot better. But being me, of course i couldn't =.='

to that very special person:

dont feel sad! there are so many things to look forward to.
Life being one of them, make use of the lovely life God gave you.

dont look down! when there are so many things to look up at.

let the stars light your path...

dont be discouraged! God is your infinite source of strength

Smile! God gave you a lovely one for a reason.
p.s i'll learn how to drive quick. Gotta catch that sunset =)

yeah. dont you hate that feeling. You wish you could do something, but you just cant. But it's ok, as time passes it brings along new things. Some good, some bad. We just have to deal with it dont we? So people, lesson being:

Whenever you feel down, or out of touch with things. Whenever you feel sad or alone, or afraid. Remember there's always somebody there who cares and is willing to listen, all you gotta do....find them. even if it is a 'Them.'

I hope you all have a GREAT week!! keep being the awesome people you are =)

oh, and this is for you. God loves you......and i do too.

when everything starts crashing down,
when all i know falls to the ground,
when darkness comes and i cant see...

You're always there to rescue me//

for starters.... Saturday, February 25, 2006 |

Hey guys! Good to see you all again.

A few new things though, you'd have noticed (hopefully) that i've shifted to blogspot.com, which is sorta different i guess. You CANT comment. butttt just for a change, i've put in a 'shoutbox' - some of you may have to wait a while for the thing to load >< - it's basically just a chat box thing. PLEAAAASE feel free to leave a few comments if you wish in there, or you can even carry out a friendly convo XD. Well, yeah. i guess that's all the new stuff =\, otherwise it's still the same old blog =).

Rawr, we got all our results back yesterday from school, and i must say i'm quite happy with the way i've done so far....i guess when you put in the effort it kinda shows eh. So....yes, i have to start working from now on >< (only applicable to years 11<) And all the uni students will be going back soon as well! (Monday for most...) so, God bless with the starting! and....i hope you do awesome! (which you all WILL =) ) Ooh last night was lotsof fun! not inclusive of the activities at school, mind you. APART from the discreet test. That was awesomely funny (awesomely?), it was easy, we pretty much figured out our mark before we got the test back. it was out of 45, and i know i got at least 3 things wrong....so i'm GUESSING around 42/45. which is still 93%. And im more than happy with that XD. Then again, the average will prolly be like 100, so i better not talk so soon =\.

We had the most AWESOME dinner last night. Occasion: celebrating Ken (and Nat's) entry into Law (and Dentistry) it was Sooooo good!! He decided to have it at Ciao Italia, this little italian resteraunt (duh) around the corner from my school, and let me tell you, if anybody wants GOOD, AUTHENTIC italian cuisine, Ciao Italia is the place.... i think, well it's my favorite place anyway. Funniest part is that there were like....15 of us, which occupied around 1/4 of the resteraunt, it was a biiit squishy but still all fun! The music they played, the company just created one of the most friendly atmospheres that i've ever experienced, i guess that's also partially the reason for their success. (coz seriously...they're always full...) . And then of course, Uncle Wai surprised us all by telling us that one of the waiter's names was Spartacus, you know, the Greek legend? and we were all like Wow! wat an awesome name! (incidentally, aunty Ina managed to trick me into thinking his mate was called Ben-Hur...but that's another story) but it turns out that his name was Spartaco or something along those lines. Problem? we'd been calling him Spartacus since we arrived, so it kinda stuck in our heads. Meh. One day of glory for Spartaco.

After a MASSIVE dinner, that included dishes like a very creamy Spaghetti Fettucini? or something like that. and a pizza that i forget the name of, and AWESOME Chilli mussels. We were stuffed. like, seriously, stuffed = couldn't move. But move we did, coz there was a line outside XD

We had to go to Ken's later that night, so Cuz and I went in SIAN JIUN's NEW CAR!!! wow! Rock on! it was SOooooo much fun. Specially since Sian (even though UNDER the speed limit) was overtaking all the adults, we like stopped at a traffic light, in front of all of them. So cuz and i wound down the windows and yelled out something like, "WOOOOOO!!!!"

needless to say, they thought we were crazy- but we digress.

When we arrived at Ken's, we went for a loooooooong walk to the park. That was very nice, the stars were beautiful overhead, the weather was perfect, not too cold, not too hot, the field was empty , so we all just lay down on the grass and stared up toward the heavens.

Seriously, all of you, at one point in your life, must do that. Its the most rewarding experience. (also make sure you have good company....unlike a certain two individuals who were constantly trying to strangle me)

At around 10 00 we made our way back, feeling satisfied, full and at 'ease'.

Damn. that was a good week.

Oh well, i'll leave you with a shots that we took from Faith's wedding, of the guys and the girls. Enjoy! haha everybody looks pro XD...i wont even bother naming them for you >.>

fine fine, i'll name. From left to right : Eddy, Cham, Me, Rob, Leon, Wei Wei (on floor), Kenny, Sian, David

And the lovely ladies?

there we go : Sharon, Cuz (Sarah..-Ann XD), Joan, Monica, Amy, Teresa, Emily, Jen, Caroline..Carolyn? >< Enjoy!
