For all You've done//
I guess time flies really quick.... i never noticed it up till this point. I mean, it's already mid-first term. For me, that means that i have approximately 2 and a half terms left. even less, perhaps 2 terms only because we're given study leave for our mocks. Yeah. Time flies by really fast eh. you dont notice it until suddenly BLAM an event that you thought was far into the future suddenly hits you in the face. (for me: Border's weekend XD)
But there are still so many things to worry about...i have a ball to go to later on in the year, a talentine show in April, committee elections in June...not to mention all the upcoming exams and everything. phwoa. that is one schedule.
Anyway, with the demise of the first 5 weeks of school, i'm quite happy. My results have never been better, and my outlook on school is quite healthy. Since i have 4 days off, i guess im taking that time to sorta rejuvinate, yup! no work tonight. Tomorrow, whole day though =.= year 12, what can you expect?
But i'll say something that i notice not many other people have problems with....when i'm at school i tend to feel quite...whats the word. Lonely? yeah. Alone, despite the fact that two of my best friends are always there to mock/laugh, at/with me which is appreciated. I still feel alone. I guess part of the reason is that i dont have a massive friend base in school. Sure i know almost everybody in my year quite well, but i'm not comfortable around them perhaps? Nono. i wont say that. how should i put this... They're not christian? that's more like it.
Call me religious..ist. -.- or whatever you smart people say the term is, but i'm a person who really likes to hang around Christians. They have the same morals....ethical values, belief about divinity as i do. That just creates a sort of comfort zone for me i guess, which is weird really, i know most of my other friends would like to hang around non-christians. But i always imagine this, picture it with me.
Can you remember (for those of you who attended) church camp? or even youth camp? (upcoming: Committee announcement) didn't you have fun? surrounded by your good friends from youth, all believers, didn't you feel that enhanced sense of a community spirit? Imagine if the world was like that, with a christian community, everywhere you went. I dont know about you, but now i cant wait to get to heaven ><. I think it's much easier to stay up till 3 AM singing One Way than till 5 AM singing Russa-sayang to drunken sailors. (saying taken from PCK)
Oh well, that's my perception, and most of your views would probably differ with that. But, dont get me wrong, i enjoy the company of my school friends anytime, anywhere, they are awesome people. Perhaps in relative context though, less that that of my Youth group =). Thank God my two best friends also go to my youth group.
Leon and i were walking around school one day, a few weeks back. Talking about a person who supposedly hacked up my account. We cracked a few good jokes at him lol, something like this:
*warning mild use of coarse language, if under 13 please refrain from reading.
-context: last night i told Leon i wanted to rip the hacker's head off and piss down his throat-
Me: I am so annoyed. Seriously i hope he like, falls down a cliff or something.
Leon: meh, he probably will, if he's low enough to hack your account.
Me: Seriously though, who would?!?
Leon: somebody with no life duh.
-Rob approaches, we begin walking down to the canteen-
Leon(getting up) : ho well, leave the violence to me, you just start drinking.
Me: ?? drinking?
Leon (brushing off dirt) : ..? hmm? you said you wanted to piss on him right?
XXXDDDD
and then in History, Lawrence (another friend) and i were telling jokes with the calculator.
(try these, they actually work, ...well mine anyway)
-note: calculator refers to graphical calculator, where you can type.-
Me: There once was a girl who was 13, her bra size was 84, she wanted it to be 45, she went to the doctor and he said 0, take 2 tablets a day. Nothing happened so she took 4 (x4) and she became...*turns calculator upside down to reveal a poorly spelt '80087355' (try it.)
Lawrence: *Grabs calculator* : there once was a guy called LAWRENCE (types it in), he walks up to a guy called JON. and goes F*** OFF.
XD
yeap. my idiot friends. but appreciated nonetheless haha XD Nothing like a good laugh every now and then. Sorry if you didn't find it funny >< but you understand they were hillarious at the time.
Oh well. I'm just relaxing now, lots to do tomorrow, so best get some rest tonight. For people who dont know, planetshakers have a great song called For all You've done. Go download it, it rocks. And any youth that want me to help them with a talentine, or want to form a group, just yell at me, (i.e call me or post here).
Haiz, time to turn up the speakers, turn down the lights and get some real rest.
Fin~
